Derek Dean Bergey

Derek, a native of Michigan, attended Central Michigan University, studying a diverse group of disciplines, including psychology, anatomy, law, and eventually, theatre. He came to Hollywood to pursue a career in film, but fell in love with the stage. For the last three years, he has been studying at Playhouse West, performing in contemporary plays. Favorite roles include Vern in Road Trip, Pinky in Hard Stuff, and Soldier in Welcome Home, Soldier. The Bacchae is his first foray into classical theatre.
